The POWER Center (Professional Opportunities for Workforce Education and Readiness) serves as the hub for Workforce Development, Continuing Education, and Adult Education at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Community College, located at 143 N. Cotton St. Andalusia, Alabama.
The POWER Center is dedicated to strengthening individuals, businesses, and communities through career training, workforce development, adult education, professional development, continuing education, customized industry training, and online learning opportunities. Whether individuals are seeking a new career, upgrading workplace skills, earning certifications, completing a high school credential, improving foundational skills, or exploring personal enrichment opportunities, the POWER Center provides flexible pathways for lifelong learning and career success.
Through partnerships with employers, industry leaders, and workforce organizations, the POWER Center supports regional workforce needs with non-credit training, Skills for Success programs, customized business and industry training, healthcare training, CDL training, registered apprenticeships, online workforce education, and adult education services.

Alabama Training Network (ATN)
- ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøCC partners with the Alabama Training Network (ATN) to provide business and industry training designed to strengthen workforce skills and improve operational performance. Training is available in Agribusiness & Food Service, Continuous Improvement, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Maintenance & Technology, and Leadership & Management Development. Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
- ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Workforce partners with local businesses to upskill current employees, with CDL Training. Courses include Class A and Class B CDL training, along with endorsement preparation for Passenger, School Bus, and Hazmat to help meet workforce and industry demands.
Building & Construction Skills
Build practical, hands-on skills for careers in construction and skilled trades through ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøCC Building & Construction Skills training. Course offerings may include Carpentry, Electrical, Fiber Optics, Plumbing, and Heavy Equipment operation such as Skid Steer, Backhoe, Excavator, and Bulldozer training to support workforce readiness and career advancement.
