Academic Programs
The Associate in Arts Degree (A.A.) and Associate in Science Degree (A.S.) prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The A.A. and A.S. are comprised of courses offered by the Math and Science Division; the Language, Humanities, and Fine Arts Division; and the Business, IT, and Social Science Division. Students pursuing an A.A. or A.S. are encouraged to identify a major and transfer institution early in their college career and to consult the Statewide Transfer and Articulation Reporting System (STARS) Guide at聽 prior to registering for classes. The STARS Guide is intended to prevent loss of credit upon transfer to public four-year colleges and universities in Alabama.
